Alumni

Nearly all Columbia University alumni in good standing* have access to the Online Alumni Community with exceptions detailed below.

*All alumni must adhere to the Online Alumni Community Terms and Conditions. Those who violate the standards outlined may be subject to termination of access to the Online Alumni Community.

Post graduation, you may experience a period when you will not have access to the Online Alumni Community (Up to 90 days). It can take time for us to receive the required student data to upgrade to your alumni record. When complete, you will have access to all the advanced features that are only available to you as an alum. Don’t forget to update your profile with your latest contact information and introduce yourself in one of the discussion groups.

Please note we are currently not permitted to offer access to alumni of affiliate schools (Teachers College, Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, Jewish Theological Seminary, and affiliate programs).

The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GSAS) is the granting school for all Ph.D., Ed.D. and Masters of Philosophy degree holders at Teachers College.  T.C. alumni from these specific degree programs will have access to the Alumni Community directory upon graduation.

There are a variety of certificate programs across Columbia. If you are a certificate holder, please check the information on your particular program to see if you are eligible. Only certain certificate programs include access to the Alumni Community.
 

Students

Current Columbia University students in good standing* will have access to the alumni directory within the Online Alumni Community soon with exceptions detailed below.

Please note, you must be officially registered as a student by September 1 to have access through that full academic year. 

*All students must adhere to the University Student Standards and Discipline as well as the Online Alumni Community Terms and Conditions. Those who violate the standards outlined may be subject to termination of access to the Online Alumni Community.

Please note we are currently not permitted to offer access to students of affiliate schools (Teachers College, Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, Jewish Theological Seminary and affiliate programs). Students of affiliate schools should reach out to their Student Affairs office for information about available services.

There are a variety of non-degree and certificate programs across Columbia. If you are a certificate student or holder, please check the information on your particular program to see if you are eligible. Only certain certificate programs include access to the Online Alumni Community.

First of all, congratulations! All eligible students have the opportunity to continue usage of the Online Alumni Community after completing their program at Columbia University.
