This book is a true story of a Jewish boy, Joseph Rabin, growing up in a typical Long Island, NY town, his experiences, his insights, his grappling with the terrible assimilation going on all around him amongst the general Western Christian Society, and the dilemmas he faced between being a good Jew versus being an American Success story – until his final immigration to the Holy Land of Israel.
As a top honor student who also became the New York State High School Wrestling Champion in 1980 and won third place in the Junior National Championships, he was recruited by Columbia University, and rated among the best wrestlers in the nation by the end of his sophomore year. With a bright future in wrestling ahead of him, Rabin grappled with a very hard inner-soul dilemma as to what was more important – to be a "Wrestling Champion" or to be a "Jewish Champion".
Immediately upon receiving his BA from Columbia University, he immigrated to Israel, married, and together with his Israeli wife Kochava raised 9 Jewish religious children in the Holy Land of Jerusalem, Israel!
A perfect read for all people of belief, faith & family as well as all people who strive for success.
At the end of the book, there is also "The Compact Guide to Success in Anything".
