What is important with animals, is the kind of empathetic relationship is possible, and it is with the various canine species that the most intense reciprocal feeling is feasible. Not just me, but my wife, but practically everyone I know, and since retirement from medicine, this daily enticement, pet care, pet walks, and poetic communication, have been my prime enthusiasm.
