A miniature dragon helps kids confront problems (social, developmental, handicaps, etc.) by getting them into one mess after another. In this first book of the series, he attaches to an angry preteen who has multiple problems; most stemming from the death of his mom in childbirth, blaming his dad and his brother and, though repressed, himself. To save his life Flash is forced to transport him to Dragon Central in a parallel universe. And the dangerous adventures begin.
