- How do alumni get access? You need a Columbia Uni to access the alumni library resources remotely. Every alum has one. If you don’t know yours, get help here.
- Can I visit the libraries in person? Yes. Alumni of Columbia University enjoy free lifetime access to library facilities. Steps for gaining access can be found on the Columbia Libraries website.
- Do alumni have borrowing privileges? Borrowing privileges are available for $30 a month. Information on how to obtain them is available here.
- Can alumni access the Rare Books and Manuscripts Library or other special research collections? Yes. Please contact the relevant special collections repository library to make a research appointment.
