A total solar eclipse is a rare and spectacular astronomical event, occurring when the sun, moon, and Earth perfectly align and bathe the surroundings in ethereal twilight. You’re invited to join this one-of-a-kind, nine-night adventure. Travel from August 6 to 15, 2026, and experience this extraordinary phenomenon at sea while cruising roundtrip between Reykjavík, Iceland, and Greenland!
You'll have grand discoveries—Greenland's remote village of Ittoqqortoormiit, Zodiac cruises, in the splendid Scoresby Sound and the alluring city of Reykjavík. See puffins, Arctic terns, and other birdlife on Vigur Island; watch for humpback whales and seals from the bow of your ship; and gaze in awe at the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain, said to have inspired novelist Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth." Along the way, soak up diverse landscapes, from enormous ice formations to volcanic terrain, and learn about the Norse and Inuit people's rich culture, folklore, and traditions. And, of course, stand in the moon's umbral shadow during an exhilarating solar eclipse at sea!
