This is a non-fiction autographical novel about varied experiences in the upper west side (Manhattanville) in New York City during the Great Depression, World War 11, as a soldier in the Army, as a student at Columbia, during the Joe McCarthy witch hunt, the kidnapping and murder of one of my professors, at UN sessions, the Cold War, 52 years in the international oil industry, abroad under military dictatorships, civil strife and revolutions, detention by political , a near miss at shoot out at OPEC in Vienna, Austria. Much deals with terrorism and training of "Carlos" the "Jackal" and how I moved in his shadow during decades.
