Join us for an evening with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the America @ 250: Rhapsody in Blue program. Porgy and Bess sweeps in with the irresistible sound of Gershwin — music that’s not quite jazz, not quite classical, but pure American magic. Paired with the iconic Rhapsody in Blue, it’s a night of New York‑infused energy led by conductor Kristiina Poska and jazz virtuoso Sullivan Fortner. After intermission, the orchestra ignites Carl Nielsen’s explosive Fourth Symphony, The Inextinguishable — a full‑throttle finale that leaves the hall buzzing.
