Join host Chris Stacey, a historian of Chicago, for a walk in Chicago's Loop. We'll discuss the history of the Chicago Style of architecture and concepts such as bearing masonry, cage construction, skeleton construction, and the cultural meanings of "the vertical city" as a symbol of Chicago's centrality to international concepts about "modernity".
