What is the toolbox for brilliant fiction? Craft, of course. The purpose of this Craft of Writing workshop is for us to talk about our use of place and point-of-view in our fiction.
Who narrates the story? What objects in a scene help project a character’s emotions? Word choices based on rhythm and sound create context, propel pace, and bring characters to life that engage agents, editors, and readers.
The workshop will be limited to fifteen participants, first-come, first-served. Reading will be sent to participants prior to the workshop. Please prepare your thoughts and/or questions. Review of the reading will be the basis of our analysis and discussion.
