Let's kick off Thanksgiving week together by giving back to our community! Join us November 25th for a Seattle Columbia Alumni Association Volunteer event. We will be helping to uplift and support the local nonprofit, Seattle Veterinary Outreach.
Seattle Veterinary Outreach (SVO) establishes free and low-cost veterinary services for homeless and low-income individuals, while simultaneously connecting them to vital health, housing, and social service resources. Every month SVO offers several clinics across Seattle providing veterinary care in conjunction with human healthcare and essential resources for those on both ends of the leash.
We are hoping to gather as many as 8 Columbia alums who would be able to meet at the SVO storage facility to help organize their supplies for upcoming clinics (food, medicine, etc). It should be a fun and easy way to join forces with fellow Columbia alums, make new connections and friends, and start the week off right!
