Carmen Cusido '10JRN, is a mental health advocate and communications leader with more than 20 years of experience across journalism, public service, and mission‑driven organizations. Currently, Carmen is an Assistant Director of Media Relations and Communications at Kessler Foundation, whose scientists are leaders in autism, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and other research. Her writing has appeared in outlets including Newsweek, Oprah Daily, Refinery29, CNN, NBC News, and more. She brings a deep commitment to elevating underrepresented voices through storytelling, strategic communications, and teaching.
