Events

The Club has previously read two other books by Powers -- Orfeo, in June 2015 and The Overstory, in February 2020.  So it would appear that we are on a 5 year schedule with Mr. Powers, a Pulitzer Prize winning author. Playground was a Finalist for the 2024 Kirkus Prize and was Longlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize.
